Father’s Day is fast approaching. Have you decided on a gift to celebrate the main man in your child or nanny-kid’s life? Is it just me or are men harder to shop for? The Mother’s Day gift we created this year for my nanny mom was an easy decision, but I find that dads want more practical gifts. What’s a nanny to do? Add original touches to a store-bought gift, of course!
Let me present to you a one-of-a-kind wooden bottle caddy!

Materials:
- Wooden Bottle Caddy (I got this one from World Market for less than $10!)
- Acrylic Craft Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Stencils (optional)
- Sandpaper (optional)
Instructions:
- Lightly sand all wooden surfaces. Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove debris.
- If you aren’t sanding, start painting right away. If you’d like, use a stencil to add words, numbers or patterns.
- Fill with Dad’s favorite beverages!

This gift is inexpensive, super easy, and totally practical for any dad this Father’s Day.
He will love it!
